§ 34.157. Impoundment fees; lien on impounded property.

(a)
Fees for all costs for the impoundment, storage and sale of impounded property shall
be charged to the owner and shall be paid to the city or the impoundment agency in
an amount established by the city council. Fees for newspaper publication notices
will be assessed at actual cost.
(b)
A lien for all costs for the impoundment, storage and sale of property under this
division exists against the property in favor of the city and, if the property is
impounded by an impoundment agency for the city, the agency.
