§ 90.164. Public hearing.

  • (a)

    Upon the filing of an application for a certificate under this division, a time and place shall be set for a public hearing thereon. Notice of the hearing shall be given to the applicant and to all persons to whom operating permits have been previously issued. Due notice shall also be given to the general public by publication of the notice, at least ten days prior to the date set for the hearing, in a newspaper of general circulation in the city.

    (b)

    Any interested person may file with the city council a statement in support of or opposition to the issuance of an operating permit.
