§ 90.058. Suspension and revocation.

  • (a)

    A certificate issued under this division may be revoked or suspended by the municipal court judge for any of the following reasons:

    (1)

    The holder or any agent or employee of the holder has violated any of the sections of this article.

    (2)

    The holder has discontinued operations for more than ten consecutive days.

    (3)

    The holder has violated any ordinance of the city or law of the United States or the state, the violation of which adversely affects the ability of holder to either offer public transportation or do so in a safe manner.

    (b)

    The chief of police may present a petition to the municipal court for suspension or revocation stating the reasons for the proposed action. The holder shall be provided with a copy of the petition and shall have an opportunity to be heard by the municipal court judge prior to the judge's decision.
