§ 86.293. Authority.

This division is adopted pursuant to V.T.C.A., Local Government Code ch. 395 as amended, and the City Charter. The provisions of this division shall not be construed to limit the power of the city to utilize other methods authorized under state law or pursuant to other city powers to accomplish the purposes set forth herein, either in substitution or in conjunction with this division. Guidelines may be developed and approved by division, resolution, or otherwise to implement and administer this division.
