§ 82.238. Revocation.

  • A parade permit issued under this division may be revoked by the chief of police if a violation of any condition of the permit occurs or if, because of disaster, public calamity, riot or other emergency, the chief of police determines that the safety of the public requires revocation. Notice of the revocation shall be delivered in writing to the permittee by personal service or by certified mail. Upon revocation, a permittee may appeal the decision in the same manner as provided in section 82.239 for denial of a permit.
