§ 82.126. Authority to designate.

  • (a)

    The traffic engineer is authorized to determine and designate, by signs, appropriate routes for commercial vehicles larger than one-ton capacity to travel through the city.

    (b)

    All truck routes established by authority of this section shall be recorded in the traffic register.

    (c)

    When signs are placed designating a truck route through the city, it shall be unlawful for an operator of a vehicle restricted to truck routes to depart from the designated routes except as provided under section 82.128.
