§ 2.567. Same—Lease agreements.

  • (a)

    The city manager is authorized to enter into lease agreements not in conflict with the charter, city ordinance, or state law, for the lease of city-owned real property for a term of 15 days or less for specific uses that will not result in permanent alteration or damage to the property.

    (b)

    The city manager is authorized to enter into lease agreements not in conflict with the charter, city ordinance, or state law, for the lease of city-owned real property at the San Marcos Municipal Airport on a month-to-month basis for uses that will not result in permanent alteration or damage to the property.

    (c)

    All leases authorized by this section shall contain appropriate provisions elating to electrical inspections, fire inspections, health inspections, insurance coverage, and protection of the city from claims relating to the public health, welfare and safety.
