§ 2.311. Created; composition; appointment of members; terms.

There is created the parks and recreation board, composed of nine citizens who reside within the city limits and who are known to be interested in public parks and public recreation and the proper use of the leisure time of the people of the city. The director of parks and recreation is an ex officio member of the board. The citizen members of the board are appointed by the city council, upon nomination by any member of the city council, and are appointed for staggered terms of two years.
